I am in love with this bike and I REALLY need help...

Hello KMX fans. I am from little balkan country Bosnia and i bought this beautiful bike KMX-125 (1989) but recently I had bad crush. I broke few ribs and I crashed my bike. I would like (at least to try) to repare it and make it looking nice again so, if anyone is willing to help I would be gratefull. I need few things... the most important are clocks so if somebody has one for sell?

@first - of course we will help you. what do you mean with "clocks" ? there is no clock in the kmx

a few people here sell the parts of their bikes seperately. there you could get the parts you crashed, cheap

please tell us, which parts you need.

I guess you means the fittings with speedometer and tachometer, right?

Der Tacho wird im englischen wohl auch als "clock" bezeichnet.

Nicht durcheinander bringen : Tacho ist für uns Geschwindigkeit, Drehzahl ist Drehzahl. Im Englsichen : Speedometer(für uns der Tacho, also Geschw.) und Tachometer(für uns Drehzahlanzeige)

Aber einen wirklichen Reim kann ich mir auf clock auch nicht machen..

Mit Tacho meinte ich jetzt allgemein die Tachoeinheit, also den ganzen Kasten mit Tachometer, Drehzahlmesser etc.

Ich wollte nicht sagen dass du unrecht hast, ich wollte nur darauf hinweisen, dass das gern durcheinander gebracht wird. Wollte genau das vermeiden, mehr nicht.

Thanks for response people!

by clocks I mean speedometer and tachometer (not miles but KMH if possible), its crashed and doesnt function. Image of my old clocks you can see at: ajanovic.co.ba/clocks.jpg
The headlight holder is prity deformed but I guess I should try to fix it "manually" dont know yet...
All 4 blinkers are crashed and dead (it was salto crach on the rocks....)
Backlight with lower mudguard needs to be changed too. I saw "terminator" has some modern mudguard with light... is it possible to have that one??? It looks cool but hope its not expencive joy
Small gum protectors for clutch, gas and other cables are ripped too, small stuff but usefull...
Kickstarter is not going back anymore but goes out whenever bike drives bumpy and its dangerous situation for the leg...
Other plastic stuff are ripped or broken ofcourse. Hm... I might try to fix them first with some poliester I suppose?
Lower chain guard on the back is broken
Front chain guard is missing

There are other things, but it would be too much for you. I think it needs a good repair man concidering bike skeleton and the engine that works just fine but looks terrible now. I would not write here if my country is not blocked cos of war that happened here. Its so hard to manage bike maintanance...

What about this "modern" backlight tails? Are they originaly for KMX125, hybrid or maybe from some other bike that fits...?

I don't know wich backlight Terminator has on his KMX, but you can find some backlight tails here: www.enduro-store.de most of them you can fit for all bikes.

Fox example this one is suitable for the KMX

If you are searching for cheeper backlights you could be find more at ebay.co.uk or ebay.de. The german translation for backlight is "Rücklicht".

yes, exactly the backlight, !manolo! showed, over my last answer!

many from here have this on their KMX and love it

BUT, we buy this backlight here in germany, because we have an law, that says the license plate has to be in an angle of 30 degrees.
if you don't have such a law, i would advice you to take a backlight, which license plate holder has an obtuse angle, cause i think it looks great :thumbsup:

many people here do this, although it is forbidden

i just ask the others for links

sollten natürlich am besten gleich passgerecht sein

small tip from me

if you haven't such a law like we here in germany (with the 30° degrees) don't buy one
it would looks best when you build one by yourself

just take a piece of aluminium or a other material, just one wich ist hard enough
buy a led light and fix it on that

how much degrees this have can you decide by yourself

just how you think

This is my Backlight. It costs about 25€. So I think its Really cheap and looks good :thumbup:

Yes it looks nice indeed. I see you have 2 extra screws on mudguard... are those fabric holes or you made them to fit led? My mudguard doesnt have those.
